Based directly on plate #15 from Thomas Sheraton's "Cabinet Maker and Upholsterer's Guide" Appendix of 1794 (buy the book). Strictly following the details and scale from this lithograph, the only liberties I took were interpreting the materials. The inset panels are sapelle and the top is banded with beeswing satinwood. Sheratons late Georgian period design seems to foreshadow the Victorian style found later in the nineteenth century.
