A faithfully executed reproduction of Thos. Jefferson's rent table currently on display in the library at Monticello. Eight individual compartments are each inlaid with three letters of the alphabet (J and V are omitted). There are four hand dovetailed drawers and four triangular hinged compartments (dovetailed on the diagonal). The octagonal top revolves above serpentine legs dovetailed into the fluted column finishing with dolfin feet above brass casters.
