This "Bonher du jour" is ornamented with satinwood, rosewood and tulipwood line inlay. Based mostly on a Sheraton Revival period piece c.1865 I saw at an antique show in Olympia, London, it is similar to Sheraton's design from plate #44 of the 1792 "Cabinet Maker and Upholsterer's Drawing Book" (buy the book) where he shows an oval of marquetry in the gallery.
